For the firs-time-ever, the Fashion Industry came together to celebrate local and diasporic Latin American talent.

The long-awaited First Edition of Latin American Fashion Awards took place in the Caribbean Hot-Spot of Dominican Republic on November 4th, 2023 to celebrate the most outstanding and emerging Latin American Talent in the world and honor the region´s heritage.

Top fashion industry leaders and heavyweights, celebrities, superstars, designers, models, influencers and creatives from all over the world traveled for the inaugural edition to honor Latin American Talent revolutionizing the global fashion industry.

The Prestigious International Jury, composed of top-tier industry leaders, dedicated a full day to closely examine the work and mission of the Emerging Designer, Artisanal and Responsible Project finalists who showcased their vision through compelling pitches. 

The unprecedented three day event, including the inaugural cocktail at the iconic Oscar de la Renta Villa and the Award Ceremony was a true celebration of community and culture.
